Soul on Fire

Soul on Fire

I am an Oklahoman by birth, a Texan by current living situation, but claim the world as my playground.I love to travel and hope to someday soon take our family on adventures to far off lands, where we can share God with others and experience all the wonders He has created.

I am a mother of 5 crazy, homeschooling children ages 10 & under, wife to an amazing man, and daughter of the King of the Universe!I enjoy reading, making my kids laugh, cooking, all things natural, learning to play guitar and dusting off my piano skills. One day I hope to run again, but until then I’m learning patience.

Need a little a spark to ignite the fire in your soul?  The answer on how do to that is easy…run to the one who ignites the fire of our souls!

He Knows

In the Beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.  This same God created you.  He knows you better than you know yourself.  How many hairs do you have on your head?  We know how many fell out this morning, but He knows how many we have left!

He cares for us so much that he knows every last detail.  He knows the deep, dark sins hidden in the corners of our hearts and yet, He still holds His arms open to us calling us back to Him. Isn’t that the amazing part?  No matter what we have done, no matter how badly we have messed up, Christ’s blood will cover our sins.

What a God we serve!  His love is endless.  He calls us to repentance.  When we humble ourselves before Him, His forgiveness washes over us

Bring me through til all I see is you!

Soul on Fire

Listening to Third Day’s Soul on Fire reminds us to not run away from our Lord but run to Him.

“Lord let me burn for you again!
Let me return to you again!”

Return to Him

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
– John 14:6

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.–

Whether you’ve been running from God, been stagnant for a while or are on fire for our Lord, keep returning to Him.  He is the only one who can keep our fire going.  And if you feel like your fire is extinguished, rejoice and return to the One who can fan the flame and create a burning passion for Him in your soul.

We can keep the fire going by reading the Bible, praying, singing, memorizing scripture, worshiping, serving others as if we were serving the Lord.  There are so many ways.

What ways do you find helps ignite the fire in your soul?
